The episode starts with Samar getting shocked when he sees the drunk Tina slapping his mother, Dolly. Vasundhara asks Tina what happened, and the guests call her shameless for her behavior.
Tina explains that she was celebrating her engagement through dancing. Meanwhile, Dolly worries that if the marriage breaks, she might lose her golden goose. Kosi manipulates Dolly against Tina and provokes her by suggesting that Tina would throw her out of the house after the marriage.
She also questions Dolly about bearing a slap from her to-be daughter-in-law and asks if her son has any defects. Dolly denies, and Kosi advises her to break the alliance between her son and Tina.
Feeling provoked, Dolly breaks the alliance with Tina. Thapki tries to convince Dolly that Tina is not that kind of person and apologizes on her behalf. Samar says he cannot accept seeing his mother insulted and apologizes to Thapki but still decides to break the alliance.
Seeing Thapki in shock, Bani intervenes and reveals that she mixed wine in Tina's cold drink, and it was her fault. She asks Samar not to punish Tina for her mistake and instead get engaged to her.
Kosi is shocked. Samar agrees with Bani's request, and the engagement ceremony takes place. Vasundhara and Thapki take Tina to her room. They then appreciate Bani for saving the alliance. Next morning, Tina wakes up and realizes that she got engaged. However, Samar regrets the decision as he does not love her.
Dolly thinks that love will happen after marriage. Bani tells them that they will have a lavish wedding. Tina worries about losing Samar, but Bani secretly plans to make her lose him. Samar and Dolly visit Pandey house for lunch. Thapki senses someone is watching her and asks who it is.
Suman comes and takes her away. Samar and Tina sit down with the others to eat. Kosi signals to Bani. Thapki informs Bani that she has made her favorite 'kheer', and Tina remarks that Thapki always makes her favorite 'halwa'.
Bani hands Samar a chit before tossing it at him, prompting him to read it and wonder why Tina is calling him to the storeroom. Meanwhile, Bani waits for Samar in the storeroom, wanting to trap him, but she's shocked to see Munna there. She questions his motive for being there, but he claims he came to assist her.
She then asks him to hide, promising that he won't be caught. Samar approaches the storeroom... Tina call him and apologizes for her behaviour. Thapki requests their presence and storms over when they hear a noise. The storeroom is locked, and they all wonder who is inside.
They burst into the room and are surprised to see Bani, who pretends she came to reminisce about the basti people. A confused Munna emerges from the cupboard, and everyone is shocked to see him. Thapki inquires about his identity. Vasundhara, Pandey and others join them.
Kosi claims he is Bani's childhood friend, Munna. Thapki asks Bani why he came, and she reveals that Munna is her boyfriend and that he came to meet her. This revelation astonishes everyone. Tina asks how Bani could consider a lowlife like Munna her boyfriend.
Thapki advises Tina to respect Bani's feelings, and Tina apologizes. Munna greets them. Thapki accepts his stay for the following few days. She then asks him if he genuinely loves Bani, and he affirms it—. Thapki hugs Bani, happy for her daughter. Later, Thapki goes to the temple, thanks God for giving her immense happiness, and requests that Bihaan returns to her to complete her family. She cries.
The temple bell rings. She hears a crowd applauding for the rockstar performing at a stage near the temple... Bihaan performs enthusiastically, singing "Nadaan parinde ghar aaja". Thapki senses his touch as his hand touches hers, and she asks who he is. A girl informs her that he is Aryan Khanna.
