The episode continues with Bani telling Thapki that she cannot erase her hatred for her, just as her beloved dad, Bihaan, cannot be brought back to life. Thapki becomes upset and starts crying while holding Bihaan's photo frame. Meanwhile, Bani is also sad and misses her father.
Munna tries to console her by suggesting that she tell everyone that she does not want to marry him, but Bani asks him to let things happen as they are. Tina comes and asks Bani to choose a 'lehenga' for her wedding.
She suggests the color blue and asks for Bani's opinion, but Munna questions how Bani will be able to respond in her sour mood. Tina takes Munna to buy clothes, while Bani remains upset. Later, Thapki gets Bihaan's photo frame fixed at a shop and takes a walk.
While talking to Bihaan's picture, expressing her need for him, some goons splash muddy water on her and tease her. This causes the photo frame to fall into a pit. Bihaan's lookalike arrives in his car and tries to assist Thapki, but the goons stop him.
Eventually, he beats them, then takes a water pipe and throws water at Thapki. Thapki opens her eyes and gets shocked on seeing his face. She recalls her last moments with Bihaan. Aryan gets into his posh car and is driven off. Thapki calls him "Bihaan" and follows him in an auto.
Meanwhile, Samar asks Bani about her apparent sadness and calls her weak. Bani asserts herself and urges him to stop calling her weak. Aryan questions Thapki as to why she is following him, and asks what she wants.
Thapki asks him who he is, to which he replies, "The Aryan Khanna". Thapki corrects him, saying that he is Bihaan Pandey. Aryan retorts by saying that his fans know him by different names and insists that he is The Aryan Khanna.
Thapki is left feeling confused. Aryan takes a tissue and wipes her face, and hands it to her while telling her to go home and relax. Thapki runs away, leaving Aryan staring after her. Bani confronts Kosi about what she should do. Kosi advises her to settle scores with everyone, as they plan to create mayhem during Tina's aarti.
Thapki returns home, visibly upset, and goes to her room. Vasundhara follows her. Thapki checks her laptop and discovers that Aryan Khanna has recently shifted from London. Vasundhara asks her what's wrong, and Thapki explains her misgivings about Bihaan's return.
Vasundhara tells her that Bihaan has gone too far and is unlikely to return. She also mentions Dolly's arrival for Tina's aarti and asks her to get ready to attend the ritual. Thapki thinks that Vasundhara is probably right, that her Bihaan might be gone forever. That night, during the aarti ritual, Kosi asks Bani to aim a catapult at Tina's aarti plate. However, fate intervenes, and the stone hits the lamp.
Dolly praises Tina for singing nice 'bhajan'. Bani sees Tina's scarf catching fire, runs to her and saves her. In the process, Bani's scarf also catches fire, shocking everyone, but Samar swiftly puts it out, rescuing her life.
Thapki thanks God for saving her daughters. She sees Bani's catapult stone on the floor, which raises suspicions in her mind. On confronting her, Bani admits to planning to ruin Tina's aarti inorder to hurt Thapki. Thapki is left emotionally disturbed by Bani's admission that she died fifteen years ago and her vow to make her pay for every tear she made her shed.
Thapki recalls Bani's bitter words and cries while telling Bihaan that their daughter is even ready to give her own life just to hurt her. She pleads with him to rescue her. Just then, she sees Aryan's reflection on the photo and gets an idea to get Bani back. She thanks Bihaan for showing her the way.
