Right on time, the family reaches and Thapki hugs Vasu, who assures her they are all with her. Balu tells Bihaan to take everyone back home, Dhruv must rot in jail. Dhruv gets a knife and stubs Bihaan's leg, before holding Thapki again and asking everyone to step back. He threatens them that he either dies or his enemy must dies if he can't marry Thapki. Vasu tries to tell him they are his family. A statement that meets a rude laugh from Dhruv.
He asks them if they are his family, where were they when Bihaan took his wife. He tells them he will have to make Thapki his even if he has to kill all of them. Bihaan shouts at him. Balu also tries to console him to accept and move on but he keeps summoning them to move back and tells Balu he will have to take the last wedding round with Thapki.

Shraddha tries to defend herself by asking why would she go first or be punished and she is there to help Dhruv, why don't he punnish the other fools. He tells her to keep mum. He then pushes Thapki towards Bihaan, presses a remote and opens some poisonousgas which starts filling the room. He tells them everyone will die after 5 mins, when Bihaan asked him what he is doing.
They all start coughing because of the gas.Dhruv says, I can stop the poisonous gas with this remote, I will do this if you agree to me, else they will die. Bihaan says, kill me, but leave them. Dhruv says, I don’t have to kill you, but you have to kill your relation with Thapki; you cheated me and took rounds with Thapki, now you have to take reverse rounds, then your relation will end, and Thapki will be just mine. There is less time, Dhruv adds, just 3 mins are remaining.
Dhruv asks Shraddha to read mantra. She says, I don’t know anything else but Swaha. Dhruv says, then recite Swaha; anyways, we have to make their marriage relation Swaha. He asks Bihaan to hurry up, it's just 2 mins left. Bihaan and Thapki cry, and take reverse rounds. Shraddha recites Swaha. Dhruv aims his gun at them, and smiles, saying, the first four rounds are over, Thapki will walk ahead now. Thapki looks at Bihaan. Bihaan nods. They cry. Thapki goes ahead.
The Pandey’s are still locked. Dhruv says, now the last round, then your relation will break forever. Shraddha furiously looks at Dhruv; she throws some black powder in his eyes. The remote falls. Bihaan swiftly takes the remote and frees his family. Shraddha drags Thapki to her side. Dhruv quickly regains control of the scene. He aims at Bihaan and says, you are the root of all these, it's happening because of you; I will kill you, then Thapki will be mine! Everyone ask Dhruv to stop. Dhruv says, Shraddha, you cheated me again, you’ll have your portion after this!
Vasundara cries. She looks at Dhruv, and recalls there lively moments. She recalls the gun which Pandey took from her, then makes some steps back before drawing the gun from Pandey’s pocket. She shouts, Dhruv... and everyone turns. She makes her way to the front line and aims the gun at Dhruv. Dhruv and everyone get shocked. She says, you are my first child, I became a mother after your birth, I taught you to walk on the right path and you walked, but today... you did wrong; I did wrong by letting you go to Bihaan’s room, I even let you sit in mandap, watching everything silently; I did wrong, but what I'm going to do now... it won’t be wrong, I will make everything right now; put the gun down, else I will shoot!
Pandey asks Vasundara, what are you doing? She shouts, put the gun down Dhruv Pandey! Dhruv says, I won’t, Maa, I'm your son, I know you won’t shoot me, you love me a lot, you can’t shoot me, see how your hands are shaking; I will shoot Bihaan and show you, I will kill Bihaan Pandey! Thapki says, nooo... and cries. Vasundara loads the gun. Everyone look on. Vasundara shoots. A huge shock hits the Pandey’s! Blood kisses Thapki’s face! Dhruv, Bihaan and Thapki see the blood! It's Bihaan... Bihaan is shot!
Vasundara sits in shock. Bihaan looks at Dhruv. Vasundara crys. Dhruv cries and moves away from the scene. He recalls Bihaan and his childhood; the young Bihaan tells him that he will give his life for him, if need be. Dhruv recalls how Vasundara shot at him, but Bihaan came infront and received the fatal bullet.
The Pandey’s are on tears. Pandey calls an ambulance. They rush Bihaan to hospital. Dhruv looks on from far. Doctor takes Bihaan to operation theatre. Thapki leaves Bihaan’s hand and cries. Dhruv recalls their childhood moment: Bihaan is hurt, he tells the doctor that he fell from stairs; Dhruv says, no, he got hurt because of me, he fell while getting my kite; Doctor says, I have never seen such a brotherly love, Balwinder is lucky to have such sons! Dhruv cries.
Bihaan’s operation is done. Thapki cries and recalls Bihaan, their moments, their love. Ranjha mera ranjha plays... Doctor removes the bullet from Bihaan's chest. His heartbeat sinks. The machine beeps.
