David sets Charlie up to destroy his marriage, Jill and Gabby to meet to talk about Gio and his consistent absenteeism .
Mikah and Max had a video chat with Gio. They wondered what was wrong with him since he kept skipping school. They asked him if he had made his parents aware that his phone was stolen and he said no.
At dinner, David and his friends were talking about Gabby and Carol said Gabby was nothing to Jill. She was not even aware that Gabby was Gio’s teacher and called out Sandy to confirm. Sandy confirmed that she actually called out for them to have a date with someone.
Her date saw that there was nothing wrong with Jill dating Gabby since both were still single. They toasted to friendship. Jill, on the other hand was trying to gatecrash into David’s house to check on Gio since she could not reach him. She was bothered and wanted to know if her son was alright.
The security did not allow her in with an excuse that David had already instructed him not to allow her into the building. After their dinner, Carol, Charlie and her date came out and David together with Lexy followed.
Carol was speaking with Sandy when Jasmin all of a sudden showed up and went to hold and caress Charlie. Calling him babe. She pretended that she did not know Carol was Charlie’s husband and asked Carol who she was as she embraced him. Carol just said she was the ex-wife of Charlie.
Meanwhile, Jill called Mikah to find out about her son and was told that her son was okay. He lost his phone and was doing quite well. Carol took the car keys and drove off while Charlie was begging for forgiveness. After that incident, Jasmine waved to Charlie and left.
Charlie realised David set him up and confronted him. David said he deserved it. Carol went home to pack out from Charlie’s house and did not even heed to the plea of her husband. David learnt from his son that he lost his phone. He promised to buy him a new expensive phone. Gio wanted something similar to his old phone not something expensive but his father said he needed something better.
Jill saw Charlie devastated and he told Jill that David set him up. He planned to hit him hard. Jill went to work and spoke with Sandy about it. Sandy believed that Carol had gone to her family’s house. Jill went to see her to talk to her but Carol blamed everything on Charlie for paving that room for another woman to come into his life.
Gio went to the gaming centre and saw his phone and confronted the guy who stole it. The boy claimed it was on his table. Gio said he was not in his right frame of mind for not even changing the phone cover. The guy punched and shove him for him to fall.
Enzo came to his rescue and Gio revealed that he knew him and he was the one who sued his mother. Enzo who pretended not to know him now recollected that he was Jill’s son and claimed he had changed but Gio did not believe. He went home and Lexy gave him her spare phone till they bought a new one for him.
Gio told her and David about his next day match but none could escort him since they had something important to do. The following day, Jill made it to the match. Some of the parents who went to support their children began to gossip about Jill but she tried to brush it off by shouting and urging Gio on.
Gio got evicted since he was foul. He bumped into his mother who gave him a new phone that he dreamt of having. Realising his mother got to know about the model and phone he liked, he returned the phone and stated that his father had bought some for him.
Gio got home and Lexy asked how his game went. Gio was mute all along which got Lexy’s parents upset for him not voicing out. Fred and Nathalia described him as a disrespectful boy and warned him not to send his anger on those who cared for him, if he thought he did like how things were run in the house. Lexy stopped his parents and told Gio to go and rest.
Nathalia told Lexy not to tolerate the bad habits of Gio since his mother did not train him well. Fred threatened to throw him out if he continued exhibiting such act. The family had dinner and David asked why his son was not there for dinner. Lexy told him to allow Gio because he lost his match.
Gio came and saw the family happy and he recalled the days that his father and mother together with him had a happy time together. He returned to his room without making them see him. In the morning, when he was going to school his father asked him why he did not come down for dinner.
He wanted to drive him to school but Gio said he could manage. When he left, Lexy told David to talk to his son because her parents were finding his act so rude. Claire apologised to Jill for her act and Jill stopped her right there and admitted she was doing her job. He invited her to a staff meeting.
Gabby after school tried talking to Gio for his inability to attend lectures and the basketball training which had affected the performance of his team, leading his team mates to complain. He reminded Gio that he was the captain. Gio was willing to quit and walked out on him. The next day, Jill went to her son’s school to find out that her son was still not attending classes.
Gabby was also concerned and due to some students who were gossiping, he decided to send Jill a place that both would meet to talk. Elsewhere, David went for a phone that he will give it to his son. Gio was also at the game center and it was late. Enzo wanted him to go home but he was not ready.
Enzo suggested he had time with him and assured that he had changed. David called home and found out that Gio was still not at home. He talked to Grace to know if Mikah was with Gio.
