Marissa couldn't deliver Ellice's h£ad to Adelina as she passes away, Red uses charie to track down the kids while Cesar makes an attempt on Lucing's life.
In the bush, the old lady came to rescue the kids by hitting Red with a stick. Elsewhere, Adelina flashbacks to when Marissa promised to do everything for her and when they met up and she told her that her time is limited.
She tries to pick up her phone beside her. At the Ceñidoza Mansion, a crying Ellice holds Hope's teddy bear as Gabriel arrives, She tells him that she’s thinking of Hope and asks if she takes her medicine on time.
Gabriel said they’re not going to stop looking for the kids and they will find them both as they hug. Elsewhere, Adelina’s care taker calls the doctor to check up on her, Adelina tells her to call Marissa for her. In his room, Cesar calls Red and gets angry asking how the kids were able to escape.
Red said he got them right in front of him and someone help them out by hitting him from the back but he didn’t see the person. Cesar then orders him to ki!! those helping the kids too. Marissa arrives at Adelina’s room, she says her last word to Marissa "k!ll Ellice for me" as she passes away and Marissa cries.
At the wake, Marissa soliloquies that Adelina’s life was full of revenge and did everything to get justice for her son’s death because of that she died with no one by her side. The old woman takes Hope and Jake back to her hut and narrates her life story to them and how she promised herself not to help anyone again.
She then flashbacks to the last day she saw her husband and son and had no idea that it would be the last time of seeing her family because she was helping others but she had no idea that her own family was in danger and $hot by a gunman making her choose to ignore everything relating to helping people and live on her own so Jake asks her why she helped them.
The old woman said when Jake and Hope were living with her, they were like a family to her so her deceased husband and son brought them to her since she’s already old and her time is numbered while looking at the picture frame. Hope asks the woman to sing the song she sang when they were living there and she said she used to sing it for her son. Hope requested her to sing the same song for them and she did.
The Next Morning, the old woman wakes them to eat and get themselves prepared because they will be going to church to pray for their safety and give them some materials to cover themselves from those chasing them. They thank the old woman and Jake feeds Hope. At the Condo, Marissa tells Lucing that she can’t believe Adelina is dead because she was her second mother though they’re not related by blood but she can never abandon her and owes her a lot of gratitude.
Lucing tells her that it means she was a big influence on her life. Marissa flashbacks to when she was in jail and Adelina sent Blue to pick her up from prison and Adelina said she wanted her loyalty which means she should serve and kill for her, When Adelina saved her from the court and she wanted her to deliver Ellice’s head on a platter.
Lucing said it’s means she died without her family by her side but fortunately Marissa was there and she envies Adelina because she knew Marissa more than she does since she had a big influence and inspiration in Marissa’s life. She felt like Marissa saw her as a mother more than her as she cries.
Marissa said she know she learnt much from Adelina but she realizes that she’s consumed by anger and wants only her revenge and if it wasn’t like Lucing’s guidance she would have ended up just like Adelina so she’s the reason why she still remain on the right path and she remains in her heart as a mother.
Lucing thanks Marissa for changing from bad to a good person as they hug. Cesar arrives at the wake to meet Marissa and says he guesses the rumors are true that she was with her at the last moment. Marissa said he’s still jealous because he never got Adelina's trust and Cesar said he’s not a jealous type but Adelina is dead so she doesn’t matters to him anymore.
Marissa tells him that he will always remain worthless because he lack loyalty so Cesar tells her to inform Avel to stop playing hide and seek with him or else he won’t spare anyone even Marissa as he leaves. At the church premises some guys make fun of Hope when Jake approaches them to fight but the old woman came to his rescue again. Elsewhere, Gabriel and his private investigator continue to look for the kids
