The episode starts with Dhruv asking Shraddha why she's brought Tina back. Shraddha tells him that Thapki, the woman who has ruined their life, was in Tina's school, so she had no other option but to cancel her admission. Pandey looks on. Dhruv falls in with Shraddha's words. Pandey tries to convince him that maybe God wants them to reunite with Thapki.
But Shraddha throws dirt on Thapki and claims that Pandey might be blinded by her charms. Dhruv holds Shraddha's hands and thanks her for keeping Thapki away from their house. He goes ahead to say that Thapki can neither return to their house nor in their life. Pandey disagrees with him, but Shraddha warns him against telling Dhruv what is right or wrong, as he's the breadwinner of the Pandeys—his words are final.
Sankar comes to Shraddha and asks her what they'll do if Thapki returns and what her fate will be. When Shraddha asks her why she's still worried when Bihaan is already hers, Sankar tells her that Bihaan has refused to marry her. Shraddha enlightens her that marriage is not the only way to keep a husband, she can also trap him.
Sankar smiles. Meanwhile, Tina tells Bihaan that she wants to return to the boarding school as she misses Bani. "The feeling is mutual," Bihaan replies. He sees a basket ball kept there and reminisces Thapki. "I am missing aunty also," Tina says, "can she come here, to visit us maybe?" "But she's very far from here," Bihaan replies, "Go and get ready for Maha Shivratri." "I will pray to God to send them to us," Tina says as she leaves. Bihaan looks on.
Later, during Maha Shivratri, Bihaan plays shank. Pandey asks God to reunite Bihaan and Thapki. Shraddha stands with Dhruv. Suman prays to God to return happiness in their house. Bihaan does 'aarti' with kids. Thapki does 'puja' at her house. Sankar goes from there to execute her plan. She brings some drinks for everyone.
"Where is my drink?" Bihaan asks her. "Sorry, I'll bring it," Sankar replies and leaves. She then pours some drink in a glass and comes to Shraddha while smiling. Shraddha asks her to put it on the table, then spikes it with bháng. "Bihaan won't be in his senses after taking this drink," Shraddha says, "and then you can do anything with him." Sankar smiles. "Everything will happen as you planned," Shraddha adds.
Thapki is up to finding the secrets that the Pandeys have been hiding from her. She calls their landline number. Bihaan is about to sip the 'spiked' drink when the telephone rings. He puts the glass away and picks the call. "Hallo," he says. Thapki hears his voice and anxiously responds, "Hallo. Bihaan—." "Thapki," Bihaan responds, "Actually, we were talking about you." "And my heart heard you," she responds, "How are you?" "I'm fine," he replies.
"Why are you hiding from me?" she asks, "You know how much I'm worried about you." "I'm just your daughter's friend, her 'dad', then why are you worrying about me? Do you know me?" Thapki gets shocked. She asks herself why Bihaan is talking as if he don't know her.
Bihaan asks Thapki to say anything. "Yes," Thapki says, "I know you, that's why I care about you—" Sankar disconnects the telephone. "You're my daughter's dad," Thapki continues, "and my husband too." Bihaan couldn't hear her. Sankar plugs the wire back and asks herself why Bihaan would leave her bháng drink to talk to someone else.
Bihaan looks on. "Hello," Thapki says—and realizes that the call is disconnected. "Why did he cut my call?" she asks herself. Sankar asks Bihaan why he hasn't drank the juice yet. Bihaan is about to tell her about Thapki's call when she asks him not to waste time and gulp the drink fast. He drinks the 'spiked' drink. Thapki thinks to call Bihaan again and tell him about their relation, but the phone is off.
Sankar gets ready to trap Bihaan. Shraddha does her 'aarti' and 'tilak', as she recalls how she trapped Dhruv. Sankar touches her feet and says, "You are my master. Bless me so that I emerge victorious." Shraddha says, "You are such a 'nautanki'. Go and get Bihaan and live your life." Sankar goes. Shraddha smiles.
Sankar comes to their bedroom calling Bihaan—and finds the lights off. "He has slept so soon due to the bháng effect," she thinks, "I'll show him my cheapness instead." She starts dancing on Dhak Dhak Dil Dhadak Raha Hai song, without confirming if Bihaan is really sleeping on that bed. She pulls the blanket off and shouts on seeing a doll in Bihaan's place." She sits down irritated and a glass with drink falls over her head.
Veer, Anu, Tina and Bihaan laugh at her. She gets angry. "What are you doing here?" Bihaan asks her. "We had kept this doll to scare Anu," Veer says, "but you got scared instead." They laugh. Shraddha comes there and laughs at Sankar. Sankar asks her why she's laughing when she's her master. Shraddha says, "I had mixed that tablet"—and wonders why there's no effect of the medicine on Bihaan. She promises to snatch Bihaan's smile. Tina recalls changing the glasses on overhearing Shraddha and Sankara's dirty plan.
Outside the house, Shraddha tells Sankar that Bihaan will come running to them. Just then, Bihaan comes there and asks them if they saw his Taj Mahal. Sankar asks herself why Bihaan still holds Thapki's memories so tight even in his condition. They tease Bihaan with the Taj Mahal. Bihaan tries to catch it. Tina sees Saraddha troubling Bihaan and cries. She runs to the in-house temple and pleads with God to send someone to rescue her beloved dad.
Sa'raddha are still making fun of Bihaan. He begs them to give him his Taj Mahal. "Okay," Shraddha says, "take it"—and throw it backwards. Thapki comes and catches it. Sankar is shocked to see Thapki and Bani there. Shraddha also turns to see them and is shocked. Bihaan smiles. Tina is still crying while she prays.
