The episode starts with Sankar and Thapki praying in the in-house temple. Sankar tells Thapki that she can pray but will not get Bihaan as he's hers now, and even God can't change that.
She asks Thapki to say something. Thapki tells her that God will answer her soon. Sankar requests Shraddha to help her dominate the unpredictable Thapki. Shraddha promises her that she'll unite her with Bihaan.
She tells her that Thapki challenged her too but she'll not succeed as she has already made arrangements to stop her from attending the wedding. Thapki asks Tina to share her feelings with her like her mother. Tina tells her that the letter which she wrote...
Shraddha comes there and calls her. Tina gets scared and goes. Thapki realizes that Shraddha is the one who compelled Tina to asks Bihaan to marry Sankar. She drinks juice that was kept there angrily. Just then, she feels dizzy and falls.
Shraddha holds her and takes her to a certain room where she plans to keep her, unconscious, till Sankar and Bihaan have completed their marriage rituals. She leaves. Sankar comes there and thinks to silence Thapki for good. She takes her out from there. Bihaan calls her.
She hides Thapki and runs to him. Bihaan tells her that Suman is calling her and asks her Tina's whereabouts. Sankar hides Thapki's scarf and asks Bihaan to go; she'll come in sometime.
The Pandeys find Thapki missing and get worried. Sankar comes there with crackers and tells them that she'll celebrate Diwali and Holika Dahan with Bihaan and the entire family.
She asks Bihaan to light the holika and recalls keeping Thapki in holika woods to get her burned. Shraddha asks Bihaan to light holika as his to-be wife is asking him.
Bihaan lights the matchstick but senses something is wrong. Thapki gains consciousness, gets shocked and makes a wood fall down. Bihaan sees her and shouts, "Thapki..!" Everyone gets shocked on seeing Thapki inside the burning holika dahan.
Bihaan and Dhruv rush to save her. Bihaan shouts to everyone to move. He gets a water pipe and puts off the fire. He then removes the woods and Thapki falls over him.
Dhruv and everyone rush to them. Bihaan gets up and lifts Thapki. He asks her to get up. Vasundhara prays. Bihaan checks Thapki's heartbeat and worries. Shraddha and Sankar look on.
Thapki coughs and gains consciousness. Vasundara and everyone make her drink water. Vasundhara asks, "Are you fine?" Suman says, "Bihaan saved your life." Thapki thanks Bihaan. She then hugs Bani and says, "I'm fine, don't cry." Suman takes the kids inside.
"Who tied you inside holika?" Bihaan asks Thapki. Thapki stares at Sankar. "Maybe they are those goons who teased her and stabbed Bihaan," Dhruv suggests. He asks Thapki to recall what happened. Bihaan says, "I will see them."
Dhruv says, "It's work of the police, not ours." Bihaan says, "I'll file a complaint then and get them punished." He leaves. Thapki tells Dhruv and the rest of the Pandeys that Sankar and Shraddha were the ones behind that heinous crime. But Shraddha holds Thapki responsible. She even promises to prove that it's all Thapki's doing.
